Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was nothing but wonderful! Sophia got up to find her easter basket and hunt for eggs. She had a great time searching all over the first floor for her tasty treats. The bunny brought her coloring books, pjs, a kite, and Despicable Me the movie.

After enjoying a little breakfast, we headed to church with my parents. The service was great and Sophia even saw a friend from VBS last year. When church got out, we headed back to our house to do some cooking.

At around 12 all of our guests arrived for a delicious brunch. It was so fun to host Easter for my family. I love being able to use my china and find no reason not to use it for occasions like these.

Sophia got a couple more Easter presents and then everyone went home. We spent the reaminder of the afternoon outside and hanging out as a family. The sunny day was much needed by all.

Here comes Easter

Yesterday we took Sophia to a little mall by our house for their Easter festivities. It is a pretty fun morning for little kids. They can bring their Easter basket and go to all of the stores in the mall for treats and prizes. There are also kids crafts, treats, and of course .......the bunny!

Sophia loved seeing the bunny again this year. She was all smiles and eager to sit with the bunny for pictures. The line was long and I wish that we would've had more time to take photos. Last year, there were barely any people at all. This year I think everyone caught on to our little treasure.

Despite the line, I got some cute photos. Happy almost Easter.

Tiny Dancer

Sophia got her costume this week for her dance recital. I made the mistake of calling her tiny dancer after the song, and she put me in my place and told me....."I am not tiny, I am ballerina." It was pretty darn cute and I had to giggle after she said it. Looks like my little girl is growing up!
