Short but sweet

Tonight we were very busy over at the new house. Hal got the lawn taken care of and mowed. He said it was pretty long! Sophia and I cleaned the upstairs bathroom and went to the community center to get our keys for the center, workout room, and pool. Sophia is just loving our new house. Tonight she ate her snack on the kitchen floor and had a great old time!

When we got home tonight to my parents house, she was eager to play with her pumpkin. My mom got this scary pumpkin that lights up. I thought she would hate it the first time as the voice is creepy! Little did I know, she would love it.

Tomorrow night I have to teach at the Y. I am looking forward to Thursday already! My kids present at Morning Meeting. Hal is off to Hutch. Then our Fall Festival is happening at school that night. Papa and Nana are bringing Sophia down to hang out with me. I am excited to be in charge of the cake walk for the first shift! It's great to see all of the goodies.
I am clinging to the couch right now hoping the Twins can pull it together here in the bottom of the 8th. Go Twins!

Crayons and the moving trash can

Today flew by. Hal went to the house after work to get some yard work and spackling done. I got to go out for dinner with my college sorority sister Ericka. It was so fun to see her. We had a great dinner at Bonfire in Eagan.

When I got home, Sophia was pushing the trash can around the house. She was just loving it. She added items to the trash can like some measuring spoons and Hal's cell phone. It was quite funny to watch her push it around like a shopping cart.

After watching her for a bit pushing the trash can around the house, we decided it was time for a new activity. So, we got out the new crayons. Sophia used crayons at Champps on Friday night for the first time and we found these crayons at Target that she just loved.

Here are a couple of pictures from her adventures in coloring:

Sophia and Daddy coloring together

I love my big girl crayons!

After coloring for a bit, it was time to head off to bed. Sophia had her milk and then went potty again on her big girl potty chair. I am so thrilled that she is continuing to go! We brushed teeth and then it was off to sleep.

Tomorrow will be another busy day. We are headed over to the new house to get some work done. Things are slowly coming together!

2 times a charm

Today was another great weekend day! We started off the morning by getting the laundry done and making breakfast. After we ate, Sophia and I made banana bread. We are excited to eat it tomorrow! Then Sophia and I played toys and read books for a bit. Nana got ready and then we went off to do our errands.

Our first stop was to Babies R Us. Sophia got a new big girl car seat. She was quite thrilled about sitting in it. She even thought she was in the car and took her shoes off.

After getting the car seat and some other goodies, we headed over to the library and the Farmer's Market. I stopped to return a library book and then to get some granola. I discovered it last week, and have been loving it ever since!

Then we went home to have some lunch. Sophia ate tons of cucumber for lunch which was really good for her. After lunch we went to Target. Sophia got her first set of crayons. She didn't want to give them to the lady so we could check out. I think she likes them.

We came home and Sophia went potty in her potty chair. Then Nana put her down for a nap and Hal came home. I went to the gym to run. When I got back she was still sleeping. She woke up not long after, but needed to nap more. So, I went up to rock with her and we both took a nap. We got up around 5 and she went potty again. We were so thrilled!! She doesn't have a record yet of twice in one day. I think she is finally getting the hang of it.

We made a trip over to the new house to get some cleaning done. Hal met some of the neighbors too! Then it was back home for dinner and a bath. Check out this cute picture of Sophia's bubble hat.
Tomorrow it is back to work. I am excited to have dinner with a college girlfriend tomorrow night. Sophia is going to hang out with Nana and Hal is over at the new house. Papa is bowling so Nana and Sophia are on their own. I'm sure they will have fun.

The Very Big Day

Sophia had a very big day today. She woke up this morning at 5am and didn't really go back to sleep. She went in to cuddle with Nana. Then we went downstairs to have some breakfast. She ate her whole waffle and then headed upstairs to get ready for the day. We both got ready and then headed to Rolly Pollies Gym.

She enjoyed every minute of our gym/tumbling class today. She was the only girl there which was a bit different. I was also one of the only moms attending class out of like 10 kids. We sang songs, did different gym stations, went in the bouncer, and went on the parachute. Here are some shots of Sophia doing the different stations.

Finishing on the balance beam

Climbing in the pit

Jumping on the trampoline walk

Climbing on the donut walk

Sophia did not like the bouncer as much as I thought that she would. I think the fan was scary to her. I hope to get back to the gym with her either for open gym or signing up for next session. She just loved everything about the class today and it went by quickly!!

We drove home from class and got ready quickly. Then we were headed off to the MOMS Sale. I read about this sale in an article in the Woodbury Bulletin. It was unlike anything I have ever been to. We got there 45 minutes early and my mom and I couldn't believe our eyes. The people lined up were out the door. It was like when you hear about those crazy wedding dress sales where the people get tons of dresses for cheap and they line up super early. Well, our ticket we got put us in the last wave of people. I chatted with the girl in line in front of us for a bit. She said we would still find deals, but it might be a bit picked over when we got in. People were in line with bins and laundry baskets to hold their purchases. Once we got into the sale at the Eagan Community Center, the whole gym was full of clothes and everything baby and kid. Sophia was such a trooper while I power shopped to find the good stuff!

Sophia let me load up the stroller with all of the clothes and goodies we found. The people that were buying things had 30-40 outfits in their hands. I don't know how to really explain how much people were buying and how many people there really were. Here's the lowdown, we waited in line to check out for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I was extremely close to giving up several times. When we go back in the spring, my mom and I have already worked out a system so we will be ready to power shop!
After hitting the sale, we went back home to have some lunch. Sophia was quite hungry. Today she tried pineapple for the first time and loved it! We finished our lunch, and then my mom had some time with her while I ran a few errands. Then Sophia went down for a nap and I went on a power walk. I came home and worked on lesson plans for a bit. Sophia woke up from her nap and ate some dinner. Then we were off to meet the Gutts for the fireworks.

They had a reserved place on the hill with treats and popcorn. Sophia also tried popcorn for the first time ever and also loved it!

The girls watching the fireworks

The fireworks were amazing! Sophia just loved them and clapped when they were all done. We were lucky to have the special treatment tonight courtesy of the Gutts. Christy and Loran got to push the button to start the fireworks as part of the 150th anniversary of White Bear Lake.
We were quite worn out when we got home and it was late. I'm sad to say Sophia didn't go potty today in the potty chair, but I am hoping for tomorrow.

Summer Day

I couldn't believe the summer weather that we had today. 85 degrees felt fantastic! Today was another busy Friday. Hal was off to work this morning and then went to the new house to meet the carpet cleaner. He cleaned the carpets throughout the whole house and they look fantastic! We are truly lucky as the house has amazing carpet all over! Then he went back to my parents house and got ready to leave for Nate's (brother-in-law) cabin.

My day went quick too. I dropped Sophia off this morning and she was eager to get going. Corey to the kids to the park for three hours today. She said that Sophia wanted to do everything on her own. Apparently these new shoes have given her this new independent attitude! She played very hard at the park and then crashed.

I got a long run in this afternoon after school which was a great way to end the day. Then we got ready and went to Champps for dinner. Sophia and I made sure to wear our Twins t-shirts. So far, they're losing, but who knows.....

While waiting for our table, Papa took Sophia outside walking. She loved the big huge fountain outside. She also enjoyed the people sitting out on the patio.

She was quite the trooper tonight during dinner. She used color crayons for the first time and colored all over her menu. When our food came she ate all of her chicken fingers and tons of fries. Tonight was the most I have ever seen her eat. After dinner, we went over to the new house to turn the fans off. It was quite an adventure as I had no clue which light switches turned on which lights or which switches turned on/off the fans. Two of the fans have remotes, but the other two didn't. So my dad and I went hunting around and found them.

Sophia talked the whole way home and then fell asleep right before we got home. She was super tired. She drank her milk with her eyes closed. Then we sat on the potty chair and guess what...........SHE WENT AGAIN!! Three nights in a row!!!!! We are so proud of her.

Tomorrow we have super busy day. We will be getting up early to go to our Bumblebees Gym/Tumbling class. Then we are off to a huge sale at the Eagan Community Center. After that we are stopping by the MOA to do a bit of shopping and have a bite to eat. Then the rest of the day is up in the air. In the evening, we are headed to White Bear Lake to hang out with the Gutts.

Baby Norah and the 2nd Potty Adventure

This morning started off great. Sophia got up with a smile and was eager to head off to Corey's. When we got to Corey's house, Sophia found Tucker and went up to cuddle him and give him a kiss. It was the cutest thing ever!

The day went by quick at school. When I went to pick Sophia up she greeted me with a big smile. It's so nice to see her at the end of a busy day. Then we were off for our date with Jill and baby Norah.
Sophia and Norah (4 weeks old)

We met them at Panera for dinner. Jill and I have been going to Panera together for several years now. I have known Jill since I graduate college when we worked together at the Y in Shoreview and then together again at Royal Oaks. Jill and I work together right now at the Y in Woodbury where we both teach group fitness cl assess. We had a great time chatting and eating. Sophia loved baby Norah! She was excited to meet her and check out just how small she really is.
Baby Norah was born three week early. Jill's actual due date was Saturday this weekend. Norah and Sophia weighed almost identical which is a cool coincidence. She is such a gorgeous baby! This was also a big day for Norah as it was her first trip to a restaurant her mommy told us. I felt pretty privileged to be the first date!

Girls Night Out
After our fun girls dinner, we headed home and went on a walk with Nana and Papa. We got back from our walk and it was time for Sophia to head off to bed. We had night-time milk and went to the potty chair. And guess what...........SHE WENT AGAIN TONIGHT!!!!!!!!
I am thrilled that she is going on the potty chair! Sophia went to bed quickly tonight as she was quite tired from the day. She is going to the park tomorrow so I'm sure it will be another early night for her.
Tomorrow is Friday and I'm excited for casual/treat day at work! Hal is going in for a bit and then off to the new house to meet with the carpet cleaner. Hal is leaving for the weekend tomorrow to go up to Nate's(his brother-in-law) cabin. Sophia and I are going to have dinner with Nana and Papa tomorrow night and then run a couple of errands.
Happy Almost Friday!

Exciting News!

Today was a big exciting day for everyone in our household. Hal went to work and I dropped Sophia off at Corey's. Sophia got some new shoes over the weekend so today she decided she wanted to wear them. They are adorable little white tennis-shoes with rhinestones down the sides. Check out the cute picture I got of her before we left this morning. Notice the new shoes.
After dropping her off, I went to the Y and ran four miles. It was a good run this morning as there was barely anyone at the Y. Then I went home and got ready. After getting ready, I met Hal at our new house for our final walk-through with our realtor. Everything looked good, so it was off to the closing.

So part of the exciting news is.......we are the proud owners of a brand new house! We are completely thrilled and couldn't be more ecstatic!! After finishing the closing, we got the keys and we were off to the new house. We made a stop at Target to get some cleaning supplies that we needed. We headed over to the house to get some cleaning done. My mom and dad stopped over later to congratulate us and take a tour of the house. It was really fun to have them come by. Here are some pictures of our new house:

After spending some quality time at the new house, I went to pick Sophia up. She had a great day at Corey's house. We quickly hurried home and I got ready to teach at the Y. It was a full house tonight in my class 22 people! Sophia and Hal played toys with Nana while I was gone. Sophia was thrilled to see Nana as she was gone for three days at a cabin with a friend.
When I got home from the Y, Sophia and I went on a walk with Nana and Papa. The weather was gorgeous. I am excited for the rest of the week as it is supposed to be really nice outside. We got back from our walk and Sophia got ready for bed. We read books and had bed-time milk. Then it was up to sit on the potty chair. Here's the other part of the exciting news..........SOPHIA WENT POTTY ON HER BIG GIRL POTTY CHAIR!!!!!!!!!!
We were so thrilled and clapped for her. She clapped for herself and then she got her reward for going potty, a pretzel stick. She happens to love them and I figured it would be a great reward for any time of the day.
I am hoping she goes again tomorrow. Tomorrow night we have a date with Jill and baby Norah. Sophia is thrilled to meet baby Norah who is only four weeks old. I am looking forward to the weekend and I know Sophia and I will have a great mommy daughter weekend!

Dinner with Grandpas

Tonight Sophia had the privilege of having dinner with both of her Grandpas together! Papa and Grandpa were glad to hang out with us and we made them a dinner they couldn't resist. We tried the Orange Chicken we bought at Trader Joes and it was a hit for everyone, even Sophia. To top it off, we had our bread and green beans from the Farmer's Market. Nana was even kind enough to leave us some special K bars for a treat.

After dinner, it started pouring. That didn't stop Sophia from playing with her toys. Lately everything that she picks up is turning into a necklace. What a girly girl.

We played with toys for a bit and then it was time to clean up. Before Sophia headed off to get her jammies on, she had a bit of a tickle fest with her Papa and Grandpa. Check out this cute video.

Date with Becca

Tonight we went out to dinner with Becca. Before getting to dinner Sophia and I went to the grocery store. They had several pumpkins out and Sophia so desperately wanted to touch them. She had a huge smile on her face after I pushed the cart near them.
Sophia just loves Becca and was excited to see her! We all enjoyed our dinner and then got to chat a bit. Sophia told Becca about the letter of the week which is H. She has already mastered it which is quite exciting!

Becca and Sophia

We were all tired from a long day at school, so we headed home after dinner. Sophia didn't get much of a nap today so she was quite exhausted. We read some books and did the brush teeth/sit on the potty chair routine before I put her to bed.
The three girls out for dinner

Now it is time for me to work on my school work as I have plenty to do to get ready for next week.

Tomorrow night we're having Grandpa Hal over for dinner. Sophia will be thrilled to see him again. I am hoping the weather will be nice again to go on a run tomorrow night. Until then...

Busy Weekend

We have had an extremely busy weekend! Yesterday we started out the day by going during Business Hours to Sam's Club. For those of you who don't know Business Hours, it means VERY EARLY! We had a great time looking around at all of the cool stuff. Then we stopped home and I was off to teach back-to-back classes at the Y. I was pumped as both classes were quite full despite the beautiful weather outside.
After getting back from the Y, I came home to Sophia finishing lunch. We packed our things up and headed out to Rosedale to do some shopping. Sophia had a great time touching all of the clothes and eating pretzel sticks. She even tried to share them with some of the mall goers. Nana played with Sophia so that I could finally get some jeans. It took quite a few pairs, but I finally found two pairs of jeans that fit me! For those of you who aren't aware.....I have been jeans shopping for several months. Yes in order to find them I did have to spend a small mint, but I got them. Then we got a phone call from Hal and we were off to our next destination, North St. Paul Days!

Sophia attended her second parade ever. She had a wonderful time dancing to all of the music and sitting next to her friend Jordan. They both collected large bags of candy (mostly Tootsie Rolls) and some really cool twisty straws.
Sophia and Jordan sitting together

Sophia didn't however enjoy the firetrucks. There were several in a row and the noise scared her a bit.

After the parade we were all tired! Sophia did not get a nap and was beginning to fade. We still had one more stop Nic's 30th birthday party at Stella's. Sophia had an excellent time running around the party room dancing to the music. She also loved looking in the live lobster tank. I got to try a new drink......raspberry vodka with pomegranate juice and lemonade. It was quite yummy! We finally got home from our big day at 10pm.

This morning started off early again. We were off and running to the Farmer's Market at 8! We got some green beans which are Sophia's new favorite, along with a gigantic cucumber, some bread, and some granola. All in all, we got some great food!

We left the Farmer's Market and headed to White Bear Lake to have breakfast with Grandpa Hal at Key's Cafe. Sophia and Grandpa had a great time being silly together at the table. Sophia had a special treat for breakfast too....Mickey Mouse Pancake.

Happy family breakfast
We had a great time eating wonderful food! Then we headed home to hang out with Great Grandma. She was excited to see Sophia and chat for a bit. Then Sophia and I went out to do all of our errands. We got to Target, Wallgreens, and the grocery store in an hour and thirty minutes. I was quite impressed! Sophia made a couple of friends in the grocery store by showing them her new talent of slouching in the seat and putting her legs above the handle. She thinks it is this great game. She giggles hysterically until I help her sit up. Then she proceeds to do it again.
After our errands, Sophia called it quits. She went down for a nap and I went for a quick 4 mile run before my three hour meeting at the Y. I figured I would need it!
When I got home tonight, Hal showed me how to work our new external hard drive. Now I have all of my pictures backed up and can start working on my digital scrapbook. Tomorrow we are going out for dinner with my friend Becca. It is also the Heroes season premiere. Hal and I are pumped!!

Happy Friday

Today was a busy Friday for everyone! Hal had a busy day at work. Sophia played hard at Corey's and went to the park, and I was quite busy at school. I was glad to see the day come to an end even though I got to start the day off with a hot chocolate from Starbucks! I picked up treats for my friend Kari and I to celebrate it being Friday.

After I picked Sophia up tonight it was off to the BP station to drop my car off. It needed an oil change badly. Then we met Hal at the house we hope will be ours soon to check it out again. I really hope we get this house. All of the neighbors were outside and the kids were running around playing in the cul-de-sac. It is everything that we want!

We left the house and came home so Sophia could eat dinner. She was quite starved. I think she is going through a growing spurt as she doesn't normally eat this well. She has been eating great all week. She even had applesauce tonight which she hasn't really had in several months! Then it was back to get my car and home to give Sophia a bath.

Tomorrow we have quite the busy day again. I am teaching back-to-back classes at the Y and then going shopping with Sophia and Nana. Hal is off to watch the Gopher game. Tomorrow night we are headed to Stella's for a friend's 30th birthday party. It should be lots of fun.

Happy Friday!

Gorgeous Day

What an absolutely beautiful day! I had a hard time being inside today. The day started off great getting up and beginning a new routine. Sophia is now brushing her teeth in the morning and sitting on the potty chair too. We're hoping that by sitting on the potty, she will go soon. I know I need to patient as this is only our first day of our new morning routine.

Sophia was eager to play with the kids when she got to Corey's today. Corey also said that they would be going to the park, so of course Sophia was thrilled and waved a quick good-bye. She also told me "apple" before I left as A is the letter of the week. She is doing such a great job with her letters and words.

I had recess duty today so I got outside with the kids. Then I brought my walking shoes and IPod to school today and went on a walk at lunch. It was so nice to get outside and have some alone time. The day went by quick and it was time to get Sophia.

When I picked her up Corey apologized as she said they went to a new park with tons of sand. I told her I didn't care as Sophia loves playing in the sand. She wanted to warn me in case I found sand everywhere she said.

We quick went to the bank and then came home to a family dinner. It was nice way to end the day. After eating dinner, we went on our nightly walk and stopped at the park. Sophia was having a great time running around in the sand barefoot. She was sad to leave the park, but entertained by the music and the soccer game going on at the stadium at the high school. Maybe we will go to a high school football game soon!

Tomorrow will be another great day and I'm sure we will get outside again. Check out the video of Sophia dancing to the radio in the kitchen tonight. She is becoming quite the dancer and is also now doing squatting moves while dancing.

Half way through the week!

So it's official......we are half way through the week today. I am also thrilled as I decided with my friend Renee over the weekend to register to run a half-marathon next year in Duluth (Grandma's). We are both very excited!! I am really looking forward to this new challenge.

Aside from my exciting news, Sophia had a very hard time getting up this morning. We have been passing a cold around our house. Sophia started out with it, and now she is getting it back from my dad. She had a very hard time parting with blankey this morning too, so we brought her in the car with us to Corey's house.

The day went by fast and then it was off to the Y for me. This weekend I am teaching back to back classes on Saturday so I should get my work-out in. Later in the day I hope to go on a run too so I will be definitely ready to go!

When I got home from the Y Sophia, Nana, and I went on our big walk. She had a great time going down the slide when we stopped at the park. It never gets boring going to the park with her. We read books after our walk and she was off to bed. She was quite tired tonight as I think she isn't feeling quite at her best. We tried the potty chair again tonight, but she didn't do anything. Oh well.....I'm sure she will go soon! She has really taken a liking to sitting there while I sing to her now.

Here are the pictures I promised from the other night of brushing her teeth for the first time.

Happy family

I love to brush my teeth!

Beautiful Summer Night

Today we took full advantage of the weather when we got home from work tonight. I had both morning and afternoon extended plus recess, so I did get to see the sunlight and "play" outside at school with the kids.

Sophia was quite eager to see me when I arrived home which is such a welcome thing to me! I changed my clothes and we immediately went outside to play. We ran around in the front yard and played her version of chase. She laughed and ran for quite a while until it was dinner time.

Hal was kind enough to grill for us tonight. Everything tasted wonderful!! Sophia just loved watching him get the meat ready and put it on the grill.

After we ate dinner we had a special treat on the grill. I have had a mad craving for smores all summer long. So tonight I finally fulfilled my treat! Hal toasted the marshmallows on the grill for us and we all had a smore after dinner.

Yummy smores!

Sophia enjoyed her smore I think more than anyone else. She loved getting the marshmallow on her fingers and then eating the mushy chocolate.

After eating our special treats, we headed out on a walk. The night went by quick, but I was so glad to spend some time outside. Tomorrow will be another busy day and night as I had to work at the Y and Hal hangs with Sophia. We are really looking forward to this weekend even though it is jammed with events!
Happy Summer Night!

Books, and Brushing, and Bears Oh My!

Tonight Sophia got to spend some time with Hal at the bookstore. She got two new Halloween books. One is of course a lift the flap book with Elmo and friends. The other is a cute book about an owl who isn't scared of the dark. Hal did a great job of picking out some really fun books for her. While they were at the bookstore, I went out to dinner with Becca. We had a great time chatting about our first weeks of school and making plans for the weeks to come.

After getting home, we went on a walk with Nana. Sophia got bundled up in her teddy bear hat. I will be quite sad when this hat doesn't fit her anymore.

What a cutie!

After we read Sophia's new books and had bedtime milk, we decided to go up and try out brushing teeth for the first time ever! Sophia was quite excited about using her new Elmo toothbrush and Elmo toothpaste. Check out some of the pictures from her toothbrush experience below.

Oops, the battery died on the camera. Stay tuned for more pictures of tooth brushing tomorrow!

Gloomy Day

Today was another gloomy day. We started off the day with a chilly walk around downtown White Bear Lake. Sophia got all bundled up in her blanket and winter hat. We discovered that her winter hat (0-3) is getting a big snug, so we decided it would be time to purchase a new one soon.

After our big walk, we stopped off at Grandma's Bakery only to be let down. They didn't have the bread that we were hoping for. So we left White Bear Lake, and went to Trader Joes. I was hoping to find their pumpkin bread mix as Sophia and I have taken a loving to it. Well, they finally got it in for fall. So we stocked up with a couple of boxes. I asked when they thought it would leave for the season, and the woman said December. We will have to stock up again before it goes away! We got a couple of other groceries that we stopped for and headed back home.

When we got back, Sophia and I made the pumpkin bread and then had some lunch. After lunch, Sophia and I got ready to go shopping. Hal headed off to watch the football games with his friends. Check out Sophia and her mommy ready for a shopping date below!
After going to a couple of different shops, we came home for Sophia's big girl nap. While she took her nap, I made monster cookies! Then we got dinner ready. Hal came home and we ate dinner. After dinner, Sophia had some monster cookie. She just loved it!

Sophia taking her first bite of Monster Cookie!

Our little Cookie Monster

Tomorrow it's back to work for everyone. I have an all day field trip which I am looking forward to. Sophia and Hal have a date for dinner tomorrow night as I am out with a friend. Go Vikes?!?

My first official race

Today Sophia went on her first official race....the James Page Blubber Run. She dressed up this morning for this very special event in her leopard outfit. We figured that she should be wearing a costume for her first beer run.

Our friends Matt and Renee met us downtown and we headed off to find our wristbands. Sophia was amazed at the crazy loud people in very unique costumes. Just as we got to the start, it started to downpour. We found a great tree to stand under while we waited for our friends to get their numbers and t-shirts. Then we were off!

Pre-race family photo

We didn't make it very far before we found the beer stop....right across from where we started. We thought to beat the crowds we would get our end beer at the beginning. So we went off on our 3 mile walk. The rain cleared up and we made it the whole way, but not before we found the second beer stop.

When we got done with the race, we took off racing home as we had an appointment with our realtor. After meeting with her, we came back home for lots of toy playing and then Sophia needed to go down for her big girl nap. Needless to say, she isn't much of a napper when she is at home. She finally fell asleep after trying for two hours.

After she woke up from her nap, Hal and I went out to dinner with Matt and Renee to Bonfire in Woodbury. Dinner was great! Renee and I have decided to try and get into the half-marathon together in Duluth next year. We had a great night with them.

Tomorrow, Sophia and I are going to Baby Grand to pick up yet another new hat for her and to do some mommy/daughter shopping. Hal is off to watch the football games at Roddy's. Hopefully we will find some fun things to purchase!

Off to the park we go

Tonight after work we went off on a huge walk in Woodbury. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! After our big walk, we stopped off at the park. Sophia was extremely excited to go down the big slides. Check out some of the pictures from our trip to the park.

We are excited and hope that the weather holds out tomorrow as we will be running/walking the James Page Blubber Run tomorrow. It will be Sophia's first official run.

After the run, we are going to spend some family time together before Hal and I are off on a date. Nana so graciously volunteered to watch Sophia so that we could spend the night out together without our little girl. We aren't sure what we are going to do yet, but I know it will be something fun.
