Thai Food

Sophia had her first taste of Thai food last night for dinner. We met our friends the Gutts at a Thai restaurant in White Bear Lake that we have been meaning to try for quite a long time. We went to celebrate Christy's b-day which was actually the next day. Sophia shared my Pad Thai with chicken and had some of Hal's sticky rice. She liked it quite a bit as she could swing the noodles around. After dinner, we got some cute pictures of Sophia and Ella together.

After eating dinner, we headed home as everyone was exhausted from the day. Sophia went right to sleep and so did we. Hal and I both had to get up early!
The morning came all too soon today. Hal and I both had to get up early for work. I was off to my opening shift of morning extended at school and Hal was off on a business trip to Maine. That meant that Sophia got to be dropped off by Papa and Nana.
When she got to Corey's today, Sophia wanted to get down right away and get playing with all of her friends. She had a great day today as Corey took the kids to the park. We know that Sophia just adores the slides!
Tonight we went on a big walk after I got done with afternoon extended with Nana. Sophia spotted the park quickly just like she always does. We took her down the slide a couple of times and she giggled the whole way down. What a funny girl.
Now that her cold is starting to get better, Hal and I have caught whatever it is that she had over the weekend. We're hoping it goes away soon!
