New Hat

Sophia got a new hat and she got to see herself tonight in the mirror. After showing her in the mirror what she looked like in the hat she got a huge smile on her face. It's still a bit big and needs to be steamed, but it looks just adorable on her. It has this pink daisy on the side with little rhinestones all over the flower.

She has had some new adventures this week at Corey's house. Corey said that she is a climber now. She discovered all the things she shouldn't get in to. Sophia loves to climb on the little chairs and this morning climbed right up next to Tucker (the big German Shepard) and started to pet him. Sophia loves dogs and she loves her Tucker!

The letters they have been working on this week are F and H. Corey told us that she can correctly identify both of them and knows what sounds both of the letters make too. It is very exciting to hear her say the letters and their sounds around the house. In the morning, I quiz her on the letters of the week and she has been doing a wonderful job.

We are glad that tomorrow is Friday! We have all had a very busy week battling this cold. Tomorrow we plan on going outside after work as it is supposed to be quite nice. Hopefully Dave Dahl is telling the truth. Happy Friday Eve.
